MAINTENANCE MANAGER - GERENTE DE MANUTENÇÃO – VALENCA, PORTUGAL

We are looking for an individual with management capacity and with strong manufacturing maintenance knowledge. The position will lead 4 shifts and a huge team while reporting to Plant Manager. Main tasks will be:

• Lead and manage the preventive maintenance plan

• Distribute the work and organize your personal section on the diferent productive shifts

• Coordinate with  production the machine maintenance.

• Inspect and carry out the complete preventive maintenance operations of the machines and installations of the company, recogénadas in the Plan, verifying the state of conservation of the parts and parts of the machines and installations, preventing possible other errors in the same.Assist and plan the delivery to the maintenance workers of the auxiliary materials needed in each case, proving the availability of tools and materials.

• Training of production workers for preventive maintenance. (PTM)

Required Skills

• Engineering studies or technical studies • Team management experience as a maintenance responsible in manufacturing environment • Experience in machinery maintenance • Experience in the automotive sector, preferably metallic transformation • SAP Maintenance would be a plus. • Fluid English, Spanish and Portuguese would be nice to have.
