  • Responsibilities

    The Globe Life Operations Support Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the Globe Life Mailrooms and each of their Supervisors located in Oklahoma City, OK, McKinney, TX, and Waco, TX.  These mailrooms are responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail at these locations.  The preparation of incoming mail includes the appropriate opening, sorting and timely distribution.  The mailrooms also assist with the preparation and processing of outgoing mail.  This position will manage the Address Change Unit, where all of the Company’s returned mail is sent to research an updated address and redistribute to policyholders.  This is an ideal position for someone who can execute logistics, troubleshoot and interested in further growth opportunities with Globe Life.

     

    • Lead the team of mailroom Supervisors to execute the department’s vision, goals and objectives
    • Monitor production and operation of mailroom teams to deliver internal customer satisfaction
    • Mange the daily operations of the Address Change Unit located in Oklahoma City and monitor unit KPI’s for SLA satisfaction
    • Act as a primary point of contact for Globe Life’s relationship with USPS, FedEx, and UPS
    • Collaboration with various business units and stakeholders for special requests and inquiries regarding incoming/outgoing mail and distribution
    • Work closely and collaborate with Enterprise Facility and Enterprise Security teams for proactive solutions to both internal and external conditions
    • Balance the logistical needs of the mailrooms and each of the stakeholder business units
    • Address challenges and inefficiencies in service delivery

     

     

    Required Skills

    • MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
    • Detail orientation with strong organization skills
    • Ability to coordinate and manage logistics across geographic territories
    • Ability to lead and direct a team for collaboration
    • Critical thinking and reasoning for creative solutions
    • Strong leadership and communication skills

    Required Experience

    • 5 years of experience in Mailroom Operations

    • 1-3 years of Supervisory experience

    • HS diploma

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
