MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop site-specific quality control programs/plans using experience, lessons learned, proven processes, and industry best practices, technologies, and methodologies
- Provide independent, proactive surveillance and inspection of all program operations
- Review and approve all deliverables
- Develop methods of procedure (e.g., checklists, SOPs, etc.)
- Conduct internal self-inspections and audits
- Apply data garnered from scheduled inspections and customer satisfaction surveys to perform unbiased analysis, recognize negative trends early, derive corrective action and improvement recommendations, and support program implementation of those actions and improvements
- Rapidly detect performance that falls outside of acceptable quality limits through in-process quality control steps, customer feedback, and analysis of performance metrics trends
- Develop, implement, and measure the results of effective process corrections
- Continuously improve standard processes, particularly when technological changes or customer-driven requirements offer opportunities for better performance
- Provide a systematic process change control system that includes documentation configuration control, management review, change control procedures, and an internal audit structure that captures current processes and supports controlled changes to those processes
- Foster an environment in which risk management, performance improvement, and quality control and assurance is employee-owned
- Use automated tools to collect performance data, analyze trends, and identify small anomalies in cost, schedule, and technical performance in order to correct them before they become bigger problems
- Schedule regular meetings to ensure alignment with customer expectations and performance metrics. Bi-directional communication ensures integration with customer expectations as the plan is implemented.
Required Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EDUCATION:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance/Public Trust determination/Overseas Vetting, as required by the TO. Personnel Security Clearance/Public Trust determinations, or Overseas Vetting may not be required as specified in the TO (i.e. TO performance may not require obtaining a Government vetting process).
- Comprehension and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Physical ability to travel overseas for extended periods of time
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience performing quality control
- Minimum of 1 year Supervisory/Management experience
- Experience in developing Quality Control Plans/Procedures
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school and/or 15 Years of relevant experience
