REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Coordinates and supervises all construction activities
- Thoroughly understand projects floor plans, fixture placement, blue prints, and construction codes as affected by local and state ordinances
- Previous experience pulling permits
- Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to the original plans and specifications
- Reviews scope of work for contracts issued
- Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems
- Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
- Understands the project plan and specifications
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, temps and other employees
- Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of final punch list
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately
- Track change orders and complete required reporting and maintains an organized job site and daily log
- Must work closely with Project Manager & Coordinator to assure all Change Orders and RFIs are kept up with and distributed in a timely manner
- Quality control check on assigned projects
- Provide project managers timely evaluations of field employees upon completion of projects
