    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION:  Associate degree in a technical field preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:  4+ years of experience in related mechanical or technical area or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    TRAINING:  Demonstrated ability to use test equipment.  Ability to learn and perform all duties and rotate to all positions within the job group.  Understanding of basic mechanical systems.  Ability to read, understand, and use blueprints, schematics, and test procedures.  Familiar with usage of precision measuring devices.  Knowledge of basic electrical, electronic and mechanical concepts. Familiar with usage of hand tools.  Familiarity with a computer and business software. 

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.  Ability to use a calculator to perform routine math for business reports.

    REASONING ABILITY: Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed written, oral &/or diagram instructions. Ability to solve practical problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.  Ability to write routine reports.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers.
