    IDEMIA seeks a Customer Solution Architect (CSA) Intern  who can work with our sales staff, business development team, marketing group, and clients to shape, and deliver technical solutions that meet our client's business requirements and efficiency objectives.

     

    The CSA is a solution creator, working with our sales team as a Pre-Sales Engineer, providing technical sales support expertise for pursuits representing technology practitioners for the corporation.  The CSA is responsible for assisting in assessing proposal and contract documents along with customer expectations across the modernized secure credentialing and vehicle oriented product suites and articulating those as formal requirements. The CSA assists in designing total customer solutions using primarily standard products with some custom software components. Working with the Systems Engineering and Development Engineering teams, the CSA applies their personal expertise in IT systems, data center operations, workflow design and systems integration to design effective customer solutions, custom demos, and customer facing documentation relating to solution architecture. The CSA attends customer meetings with Sales and Program Management and provides a technical point of contact for customers. This role will maintain a working knowledge of the capabilities and configuration options of the IDEMIA solutions.

     We are looking for an intern who wants to devlop and mature these skiils

     

    The ideal CSA candidate will be student pursuing a degree in CS, MIS or Sales Engineering.  USA domestic travel may be required.

     

    The skill you will learn are part of the Internship are

    • Identifying client business needs, and translating them into solutions

    • Assist  in developing business opportunities, including meeting with clients, understanding the client's compelling events and business needs, interactively developing a solution with clients and IDEMIA engineering resources, responding to RFIs and RFPs, writing and presenting proposals, spearheading, customizing, and presenting end-user demos, and assisting with creating statements of work.

    • Assemble relevant resources and appropriate materials to support sales pursuits including acting as a liaison between the Sales Team and the Engineering  Leads.  Requires good analytic skills to probe and understand the client's situation, and then translate that knowledge into a solution specific to that client.

    • Working indirectly with customers to collect, synthesize and clearly communicate requirements primarily through written proposal responses

    • Technical: Assisting  key projects in areas relating  technology selection,  architecture, and solution implementation.

    • Technical:  Supporting the development and delivery of customized demos using software engineering best practices

    • Business: Acquiring knowledge in many business development activities including sales calls, client presentations, demonstrations, and proposal responses to RFI/RFPs.

    • Leverage: Supporting proposal efforts and strategies to win business in strategic markets or current accounts.

    Required Skills

    • Proficiency in standard office productivity tools such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint Etc 
    • Familiarity with current technical tools and trends.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Actively persuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Technical Sales or related fields.

     

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENT, WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Travel Requirement: Occasional overnight US Domestic travel required, less than 10%.
    • Working Conditions: General office environment.  The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
    • Physical Demands: Office environment where the employee may sit comfortably to do the work.  Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc.  Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
