    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Cargo Processing QA Technician is responsible for performing cargo processing services to ensure that all originating and in-transit general cargo is safe for flight.

    • Performs quality assurance for aerial port cargo and identifies and corrects discrepancies.
    • Shall receive inbound cargo and validate it against cargo manifests.
    • Shall generate daily reports on Transportation Priority 3 and Transportation Priority 4, (TP3 and TP4), cargo levels and submit them to ATOC and 455 ELRS.
    • Shall process terminating general cargo with mobility Transportation Control Numbers (TCNs).
    • Shall process inbound and outbound Theater Express cargo: Perform all required Theater Express Cargo program actions, as required in the CENTCOM Aerial Port LOI. Submit Theater Express offers to AMD in the absence of the Theater Express Program Manager as needed. Observe loading and unloading cargo operations to ensure a safe operation. Ensure that Theater Express cargo complies with all CENTCOM/AFCENT regulations.
    • Cargo Processing services include: Fixing any build-up discrepancies on in-transit cargo identified by Load Planning prior to final load planning. Ensure that all in-transit cargo destined out of the Area of Responsibility (AOR) has cleared customs. If not, the Contractor shall contact Customs for appointment. Ensure all in-transit cargo has an RFID tag attached. If not, the Contractor shall burn and validate an RFID tag. Contact end-users to arrange pickup of mobility cargo, and generate a truck manifest, signed by user and file manifest IAW 24-101 Vol 6. The manifest will be signed by the user and maintained by CPB. Identify accepted cargo, segregate it from all other cargo, and prepare the cargo manifest.
    • Shall ensure cargo meets all applicable Air Force regulations, corporate regulations, policies and procedures.
    • Shall be able to effectively communicate, use technical manuals and references and generate daily required reports.
    • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
    • Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g. to include government facilities, equipment and tools).
    • Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
    • Will be repairing, building and braking down pallets
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Responsible for providing Aerial Port Services on a 24/7/365 basis.

    Required Skills

    Shall have a working knowledge of all air terminal operations and training requirements/standards.

    Physical requirements may include lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. or Local Driver’s License.

    Must have the capability of obtaining an Air Force flight line driver’s license.

    Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.

    Must have GATES experience.

    Must have experience in processing cargo.

    Must be able to pass MOD12 employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.

    Required Experience

    Shall have at least four (4) years of experience with quality review and surveillance standards.

    Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
