• Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC.
• Work closely with business analysts and solution architects in understanding the functional and technical requirements and able to design the solution to meet the expectations.
• Develop the SFCC extension cartridges depending on the client requirement.
• Able to analyze, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and SFCC implementation.
• Ability to deal with scope changes carefully and perform impact analysis.
• Design and Develop - features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, social ecommerce, Integrations like Payment, Analytics, reviews, Tax…etc.
• Work with team to implement advanced features provided by SFCC for job schedules, Rest and Soap API calls by considering quota limits.
• Monitoring the error logs and quota status properly.
• Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation. Collaborate with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards.
• Develop the code as per the defined SFCC coding standards and ensure respective team members also follow (preform code and deliverables review).
• Responsible for code and data replication to PIG.
• As a Senior Software Engineer - SFCC, you will work with the team members to setup the SFCC work space, BM configurations and code repository creation, usage.
• You will work with TL or TA to ensure the necessary health of the overall solution.
• Should be able to mentor others (min. 2 members) and work towards improvising the process.
• Ensure that the defined organizational methodology/process is followed.
• Should take ownership in delivering the quality product not only for self and also for the team.
• Ability to provide Estimates for a given Task / Module

Required Skills

Good knowledge of ecommerce implementation specifically on SFCC platform, MVC Pattern, Eclipse.

Good understanding of object oriented programming, deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server.

Good knowledge on all Business Manager features.

Knowledge of the concepts of price and inventory, and had worked with external vendors to set up feeds and processes for these on projects.

Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integration, and should be able to implement the new cartridge for new vendors with SOAP or Rest API calls.

Follow SFCC practices, coding standards and quota limits.

Review the code of team members.

Efficient in reusing the new features released by SFCC from release to release.

Individual should be able to work on at least 3 third party backend integrations like Address/shipping/tax validation, Payment authorization, CRM, OMS without help.

Expert of SiteGenesis DOM structure, jQuery event handling and frontend third party integrations.

Demonstrated consistent excellence in applying this competency across multiple projects and/or organizations.
