  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    Works closely and collaboratively with vendors, business clients, project managers, solution architects, application managers, operations personnel and other IT subject matter experts to ensure on-time delivery of high quality implementations and post-golive support. Is active in all areas of the implementation process and is a consistent interface and coordination point to ensure all implementation activities are performed effectively and efficiently.

    Primary Duties:

    • Establish relationships with key client personnel and deliver timely, high quality service to the client

    • Ensure client satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, client engagement and thorough communication

    • Manage both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client deliverable in accordance with the SOW

    • Ensure clear team communications about the product roadmap to all professional services staff assigned to the SOW

    • Ensure continuous and effective services are provided and product delivery completion is within budget and in accordance with contract requirements

    • Understand and can manage organizational resources, priorities, business objectives and policies; in a matrix environment, to meet engagement deadlines and goals

    • Energizes their team and cultivates a high performance culture

    • Works effectively across multiple roles to successfully achieve business goals

    • Oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders

    • Develop and support stakeholder communication processes for project-level status and other communication required to support successful delivery and management of business expectations.

    • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process and taking corrective action as necessary.

    • Monitor financial delivery and issue management processes, escalating issues and variances to budgets where necessary.

    • Provides oversight within a project to ensure all activities are working effectively toward the defined solution.

    • Collaborates with the project Solution Architect to ensure the solution architecture is understood and agreed to by all parties supporting the implementation

    • Acts as the primary owner and resolver of technical blockers and technical project risks.

    • Acts as primary escalation for vendor involved in project work.

    • Develop and/or oversees the development of the technical content for any project related SOWs.

    • Ensure that key project team relationships are defined and coordinated, including internal and external team members.

    • Review critical deliverables to ensure quality standards have been met.

    • Participate in project estimation, planning and resource decisions.

    • Ensure operational readiness testing and design for operations efforts to ensure smooth transition post deployment.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other closely related discipline combined with Six (6) years' experience leading professional services delivery, product development or technical project delivery; or in lieu of a degree Six (6) years additional experience required.

    Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated success in the solution and delivery across all aspects of enterprise applications or infrastructure.
    • Collaborative work with vendors, internal and external business partners is required.
    • Demonstrated knowledge with multiple solutions delivery methodologies.
    • Proficient in managing and developing relationships with multiple technical vendors.
    • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in multi-vendor environment.
    • Proficient in written and verbal communications.
    • Demonstrate concern for achieving objectives.
    • Shows passion for improving delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Respond to change with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new ways to accomplish objectives.
    • Demonstrated ability in making decisions authoritatively and wisely, after adequately contemplating various available courses.
    • Honest and forthright, keeping word and commitments.

    Working Conditions:

    • Office environment with extensive use of a computer.
    • May require travel.
    • Ability to work outside of normal workday/workweek to meet deadlines and maintain support levels.
