  • Responsibilities

    The Continuous Improvement Supervisor has a vital role within the organization and is responsible for working with all areas within manufacturing environment in order to analyze the process for improvement and compliance.  The supervisor will act as a driving force behind strategic, operational and organizational initiatives while providing insights through analytics to support data-driven continuous improvement efforts. This role will report to the CI Manager and is responsible to train, mentor, and supervise Exton Continuous Improvement team.

    Additional duties include developing, qualifying and implementing new products, processes and materials for manufacturing. This role will also lead, coordinate, and organize all defined lean activities toward the end of creating and fostering a Lean Continuous Improvement culture.

    Required Experience

    • 5+ Years Experience in Manufacturing Environment;
    • Project management experience is preferred;
    • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical information in mathematical and/or narrative form
    • Demonstrated experience in implementing world-class tools and lean manufacturing techniques in managing plant wide change initiatives.
    • Ability to understand and develop 2D AutoCAD drawings
    • Data analytical tools and data visualization software experience preferred.
    • Experience in SQL, Excel, relational databases, database concepts, and database design required.
    • Knowledge of statistical concepts such as distribution analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression. Proficient in data analysis using software (Minitab), as well as Excel based tools
    • Advanced Excel knowledge, with proficiency in the complete MS Office Suite (incl: Project, Visio)
    • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required
