    SUMMARY:

    Direct, plan and oversee procurement and logistics functions related to project requirements.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Procures, maintains receiving, warehousing, shipment preparation, routing and distribution and advises management on needed actions.

    Determine best value and most expedient logistics routes and vendors to ensure consistent customer support. Interact with local logistics providers and reach back to management for support on significant issues.

    Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

    Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

    Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

    Maintains warehouse staff by assisting local national (LN) recruitment efforts as well as selecting, orienting, and training local nationals.

    Continuously improves the procurement process, eliminating redundancy while ensuring responsiveness to the customer and compliance within IAP procurement policy and procedure.

        

    KNOWLEDGE:

    Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point. Maximo Competent.

    • Knowledge of automotive parts. Visual identification by part description.
    • Create item numbers for new/existing parts in database.
    • Maintain records of all shipping and receiving transactions to ensure compliance to company guidelines and maintain neat and clean area at all times.
    • Maintain parts storage areas, manage all parts stored properly and maintain effective controls on all inventories.
    • Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure all parts reach destination within timeframe and ensure compliance to all air or ground shipping regulations.
    • Manage and process all invoices and compare to all requisitions and evaluate quantity of merchandise received and maintain records of all parts purchased and received.
    • Monitor all parts of stockroom. Perform regular cycle count and ensure compliance to all safety regulations and procedures according to employee handbook.
    • Participate in various training programs to enhance knowledge on all processes.
    • Adheres and enforces the project and company safety policy and procedures.
    • Ensures data input entered is timely and accurately into databases and/or spreadsheets.
    • Performs duties cost effectively to ensure project materials are ordered timely.
    • Ability to operate fork truck and maintain license.

    MIN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    6 - 9 years’ experience in logistics with BA. Practical knowledge may be substituted in lieu of educational requirements at IAP’s discretion.

    SECURITY CLEARANCE: YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
