    We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Automation Process & Controls team as a full-time Project Engineer. This position is responsible for the needs analysis, design, development, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of automation and process controls projects with an emphasis on project management and cost controls. The APC Project Engineer will be comfortable acting as a discipline lead in any multi-disciplined environment, he/she will have overall responsibility for the project estimate, schedule, and overall project performance. The nature of this work would require the individual to be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite and must have experience with PLC program development, and HMI/SCADA development. This position also requires knowledge of control networks, Ethernet IP, Modbus, Devicenet, Profibus, etc.

     


     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related technical field
    • EXPERIENCE: 4 to 7 years of experience

    or

    • EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent
    • EXPERIENCE: 6 to 8 years of experience

     

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interacts with clients and other subcontractors to collaborate on design intent.
    • Assists with development of department design standards and procedures.
    • Establishes design criteria for automation and process control projects.
    • Interfaces with CAD department to develop drawings for projects.
    • Acts as the primary resource on project estimating.
    • Provides guidance to project managers to ensure that construction activities comply with specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
    • Ensures projects are documented properly and effectively using customer requirements as well as Faith's prescribed standards and practices.
    • Coordinates and assists Field Technicians and Field Engineers with project startup and service activities.
    • Serves as software development lead for PLC and Operator Interface programming.
