    We have an exciting opportunity for COMMODITY BUYER (direct materials – mostly metal parts and outside services i.e. stamping, turning) who wishes to develop in international environment within central structure. Buyer will report to Commodity Manager and work for our Seating Division in Europe.

    YOUR TASKS WILL BE:

     

    • Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in line with annual saving targets
    • Drive Initial sourcing and/ or re- sourcing process, manage supplier selection process from RFQ to business award
    • Analyze cost break downs in cooperation with cost engineering
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
    • Manage and follow up on technical change requests
    • Purchase order administration and maintenance
    • Support operational functions in solving supplier quality and logistic issues

     

     

     

    WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

     

    • University degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent
    • 3 year of experience in purchasing area, ideally in the production / automotive industry
    • Practice with metal related commodity will be an asset
    • Very good negotiation and communication skills within an international environment as well as analytical thinking
    • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment, keeping the good spirit and team work atmosphere
    • Fluency in written and spoken English, any other European language is an asset
    • Good MS Office knowledge, especially with Excel
