JOB DESCRIPTION IPSOS - _Innovation The Ipsos Innovation Practice helps clients realize true in-market growth by crafting impactful innovations tailored to the needs of today’s consumers. With over 40 years of experience exploring consumer behavior around the world, Ipsos is uniquely positioned to bring its clients robust, validated models, as well as cutting edge solutions with global scale. _POSITION SUMMARY You will play a critical role within Ipsos’ US business, combining leadership skills, business development savvy, and research expertise to shape and grow a significant portion of US revenue with existing and new client relationships. You will oversee a dynamic team of innovation professionals – ranging from junior to seasoned researchers – ensuring they have a clear and strategic road map to success. With your guidance, your team is expected to provide best-in-class service, consultation and thought leadership to a range of clients, with an emphasis on innovation and new product development. You have a passion for developing new business opportunities proactively and pursue them with gusto – both incremental revenue streams with new client targets and increased penetration with existing clients. You thrive in an evolving market that demands change and outside-the-box thinking and enjoy serving as a trusted advisor to both your clients and Ipsos colleagues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES REVENUE AND PROFIT MANAGEMENT:

    • Set and achieve realistic, but ambitious, revenue and profit targets for the broader team, as well as for sub-teams/clients (revenue targets by client and research solution, for example)
    • Monitor delivery against P&L targets: regular sales forecasts to leadership and identification of compensatory revenue pursuits when course correction is necessary
    • Analyze revenue data to create account strategies for key clients that will drive growth year over year via repeat business, preferred supplier status, and expansion into new spaces and capability areas
    • Oversee and review proposals for new research projects and programs, ensuring they are thoughtfully designed, competitively priced, and effectively pitched to clients

    TEAM LEADERSHIP

    • Align clients with client service representatives that are best poised to generate strong client relationships and revenue growth
    • Assign team members to direct managers that are equipped to coach and develop junior staff in terms of research fundamentals, as well as client service and business development skills
    • Balance the delegation of client relationship and project duties to your broader team, with the need to directly involve yourself in day-to-day activities on strategic initiatives
    • Encourage the team to develop strong partnerships with other Ipsos Divisions to respond to new business opportunities and deliver best-in-class solutions to addressing client business questions
    • Ensure your team is trained to properly oversee research projects from beginning to end, including costing, management of internal operations functions and ensuring the successful delivery of insights and recommendations to clients.

    CLIENT BUSINESS/RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

    • Establish yourself as a trusted business partner with your clients, working to grow relationships into true partnerships by ensuring accounts are serviced with excellence in terms of project execution, analysis, and activation of learnings

    • Prioritize client relationship efforts with the greatest ROI, building prospect client contact lists, and strengthening ties with influencers/decision makers and stakeholders throughout client organizations

    • Proactively identify and resolve client pain points including, but not limited to:

    • Methodological advice stemming from business questions, including introducing new methodologies or solutions from adjacent Ipsos practice areas

    • Analysis resulting in consumer insights that can be easily interpreted and applied to client business plans

    • Ability to connect the dots across multiple work streams for more holistic learnings
