POSITION TITLE: DEVELOPER III (JOB ID: 0002895612)
LOCATION: OVERLAND PARK ,KS
DURATION: 7+MONTHS CONTRACT
Developer III performs complex analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. Post graduate degree desired. 4-6 years experience in software development.
- Creation and implementation of REST API's using get / put / post / delete
- Three years experience with report delivery through SQL SSRS or web presentation
- Writing code for developing new programs
- Reviewing code developed by other Developers
- Documenting detailed specifications
- Assisting in reviewing vendor products
- Evaluating and performance testing of purchased products
- Debugging program errors
- Loading database for testing
- Solid understanding of SQL Server database administration
- Solid understanding of Windows Server administration
- Ability to develop technical specifications and interpret business requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison and making presentations to internal customers or professional peers
- Ability to automate processes and manage priorities effectively to achieve optimal results
- Ability to function as a team player and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
