JOB PURPOSE:
Serves as a technical solution provider in the design, development, testing & support of Sitecore (8.x) based solutions. Specializes in Microsoft development technologies with an adaptable skillset. Works with developers across many solution disciplines to learn about, design and solve a variety of problems that can exist with current and new software applications and technologies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, writes code, and unit tests web applications with .NET and Sitecore that adhere to requirements.
- Collaborates with internal team members, customers, and management on all aspects of the development lifecycle.
- Responsible for handling incident requests, which includes troubleshooting and break/fixes.
- Produces quality documentation to impart both knowledge and clear support procedures.
- Delivers consistently solid and successful solutions in short development cycles.
- Complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
- Understands emerging technology and infrastructure, as it relates to development and architecture (operating systems, security, hardware, etc.).
- Enforces standards for development and documentation such as naming conventions, revision notes, version control, etc.
- Fosters and maintains good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
- Delivers performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
- Drives process & product improvements to aspire to higher productivity and quality levels.

SPECIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems preferred, equivalent work experience or related degree considered.
- 6+ years of experience in technology and software development.
- Good communication skills with ability to gather and convey information to stakeholders of varying levels of technology experience.
- Keen eye for improvement opportunities with ability to execute identified improvements.
- Desire to expand current skillset
Experience and exposure in the following technologies required:
Design & Development Experience:
- Visual Studio 2012+ & .NET 4.0 – C#, ASP.NET MVC
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- SQL Server 2008/2012
Application Integration Design Experience:
- Web Services / Web API / WCF
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Experience
- Sitecore or other Web Content Management
- Azure DevOps/Team Foundation Server
- Framework: AngularJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap
- Project: Agile/Scrum
- Certification: Sitecore Developer
- JQuery
