    Journeyman Electricians are responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting and maintenance through well versed knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). All jobsites participate in daily safety initiatives such as tool-box talks and daily operational risk management meetings to proactively identify safe practices.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • EDUCATION: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)

     

    REQUIRED: The ability to effectively communicate in the English language. This includes the ability to understand the spoken and written word as well as speak in English.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Install and layout conduit systems, various lighting systems, and basic control systems feeders.
    • Install motor feeders and makes standard motor connections.
    • Effectively analyze blueprints for job site knowledge.
    • Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures and training.
    • Demonstrate the ability to complete a job layout for projects of limited various scope and size.
    • Opportunity to lead small crews (2-5 electricians).
    • Enforce a safe jobsite and maintain compliance with company safety, OSHA and customer-specific safety standards.
    • Demonstrate excellent customer relations though utilization of effective problem solving techniques.
