INTERN - Quality Assurance Internships Durham, North Carolina Job Summary The Quality Assurance Intern will assist with testing for software changes and/or new releases along with writing test cases, documenting test procedures, documenting test results, maintaining valid test data which would include valid test scenarios to ensure the quality of Avalara products. Job Duties * Assist in creating and maintaining documentation * Create test cases to explain what is being tested * Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify root cause * Create clear & concise defect reports Qualifications (absolute must haves walking in the door) * Interns must have a technical curriculum focus in secondary and post-secondary schooling * Must be able to work at least 20 -30 hrs a week * The ability to analyze and test software applications at an end-user level. * Must have a technical curriculum focus in secondary and post-secondary schooling * Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as work well in a team environment Preferred Qualifications (great to have but not absolutely necessary) * Test automation experience with Selenium
