Overview
Avant Gardner is actively seeking staff with concerts experience as we are building our live music calendar this year.
Primary Responsibilities
- Advance and prepare for artist hospitality/catering riders for assigned events.
- Organization and execution of all rider items according to where they will be needed on day-of-show (i.e. Green Rooms, Dressing Rooms, Guest Production Office, Buses, etc.).
- Maintenance of an inventory of all rider items purchased.
- Work with AG F&B resources to ensure artist requests are properly addressed while keeping all receipts organized.
- Work with external catering partners and source outside partners as required.
- Coordinate any additional requirements with Tour Manager or Artist Team day of show. Communicate directly with Artists (if no Management team available) ahead of show on day of the event.
- Manage backstage area of venue ensuring artist hospitality needs are met on day of show. This includes preparing greenrooms with food and beverage, providing great customer service to artists and their crew and being a resource to answer any questions they may have.
- Ensure artist green rooms are properly stocked and cleaned prior to their arrival.
- Manage purchasing rider items, liaising with Programming or Accounting for petty cash as required.
- Take care of talent from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave, ensuring that talent and tour have an optimal experience at the venue, both on and off the stage. Be the escort and point of contact for talent for arrival/departure, soundcheck, stage and in case of any issues, questions, needs, or concerns.
- Ensure all elements of the visiting artist's contract are fulfilled. Alert Promoter Rep, Buyer and Production of technical concerns that may come up.
- Contribute to the development of advance and show protocols for Artist Relations team. Share knowledge and experience with other Artist Relations/Hospitality team members.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in artist relations, hospitality, production and related areas at large venues and mid to festival sized music events.
- Experience with national/international touring acts and working directly with tour managers and promoters.
- Experience working with concerts & live music, including national promoters.
- Experience setting up Green/Dressing Rooms, Production and VIP Hospitality Experience with catering set-up and food service for artist and crews.
- Willingness to work a range of events including concert, nightlife preferred.
- Able to supervise other team members as needed to meet requirements a plus.

- Able to maintain professionalism at all times when working with artists and celebrities of all levels.
