ERP CONSULTANT – PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The ERP CONSULTANT position manages the implementation process of for ERP (SAP Business One) software solutions to clients. This critical customer-focused role is the key to the success of software solutions. The ERP CONSULTANT has responsibility for the functional requirements implementation of the software, to ensure the proper delivery, within the defined timeline and budget, while delivering the highest value. The ERP CONSULTANT also coordinates and supervises the activities of systems’ implementation, while leveraging the internal resources at their disposal to achieve project success. This position reports to the Practice Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the requirements analysis and recommendations, providing modifications to enhance an existing application or new application implementation.
- Leads the software implementation collaboration for the client.
- Manages the functional tasks of the technical project team, internal management stakeholders and client project members, either on-site or via web meetings/conference calls
- Plays a central role in the installation, configuration, and programming recommendations of applications that are impacted by the implementation process.
- Identifies any issues in performance or functionality and develops recommendations to remedy these issues.
- Responsible for wiring the system documentation and reports required to manage the application.
- Responsible for end-user and client stakeholder training.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Accounting are ideal.
- You are experienced working with mid-market clients implementing ERP applications.
- External consulting exposure of 2-4 years, working with small to mid-sized clients, implementing application software, ideally ERP solutions.
- Expertise with SQL, Crystal Reports, other report writers;
- Experience in installing bar coding, scanning, and other ERP technologies would be the ideal background.
- Candidate must have a proven track record of results, working with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, with an emphasis on client service capabilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
