Avanti's client is a respected Human Resource consulting firm providing expertise for small businesses. The firm has started a new division that will take the complexity of human resource tasks on so small businesses can grow and focus on their core offerings. We are recruiting for multiple, part-time HR Generalist roles where THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL WORK FROM TEN TO FORTY HOURS A WEEK (depending on how many hours you prefer) and assist a variety of clients with basic HR functions.

These roles require some onsite HR consulting, usually once a week. There may be travel from time to time but rarely overnight. Based on your preferences, your schedule can be on-call, and consulting services can be provided via phone and video with one day on-site at the client's location.

If you meet the following skills requirements and desire a part-time schedule with lots of variety, this is the perfect fit:

Five or more years of experience as a Human Resource Generalist with a broad background in the field. Bachelor's degree and prefers certification such as PHR. The ideal candidate is current with California Labor Law and has recent experience with project-based and day-to-day human resource experience in a small to the mid-sized company environment. Examples include responding to basic human resource-related questions, helping with job description creation, reviewing HR policies, and more.
