JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator/ Project Specialist will work across a variety of people operation tasks to lead the administrative functions of HR as well as the implementation and organization of projects. This role will work closely with various departments to execute successful human resources tasks and projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain HRIS system, ensuring the accuracy of information including status/information changes, new hire information, and terminations.
- Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Complete special projects related to audits, ad hoc and regulatory reporting, and other internal requests.
- Complete Administrative support as related to the company’s HR function.
- Work directly with Accounting, Marketing, Learning and Development, Executive Team, and other Avanti Departments as needed to support various functions of the business in an administrative capacity.
- Lead management and administration of all HR projects including tracking, status, issues that arise, etc.
- Support the HR team in the development, initiation, and implementation of HR projects.
- Report on HR projects status and progress.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
- 1-year of HRIS management, preferably Paylocity but not required.
- 3 years of general administration/ HR coordinator and project management experience.
- Multi-Family/Property Management experience is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Office setting with various levels of sound, limited travel required to property site.
