Avantik is currently seeking a WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT to join our growing warehouse team in Canton, MA. This person will be responsible for picking, packing, restocking shelves, kit assembly and more. He/she will be an integral part of ensuring our customers have what they need, when they need it.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

• Pulling, packing, processing, and shipping orders 
• Pulling product from pallet racking and stock empty shipping slots 
• Organizing and putting away incoming goods after they are received 
• Pulling, palletizing, and processing LTL orders 
• Type and cross-checking BOL’s for LTL orders 
• Entering in bin locations and updating inventory records for parts put away in a new location; labeling and stocking new bins as needed 
• General maintenance of warehouse – i.e. sweeping, organization, tidying 
• Reviewing stock of shipping supplies w/warehouse manager and order as needed 
• Responsible for deliveries to local customers as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Previous warehouse experience, a minimum of 1-2 years 
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required 
• Attention to detail, neat and organized, good listener, motivated 
• Team player 
• Conditioned for physically demanding work, able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
