Ava's Hospitality Group is currently seeking a part-time* Delivery Driver from our new Commissary in Easton, MD to all restaurant locations in Maryland and Delaware! (*full-time potential) The Commissary Driver is responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, and organization of products between Ava’s Hospitality Group Commissary and all restaurant locations. The Commissary Driver will work closely with the Head of Commissary Production to ensure that product orders and transfers for each restaurant are correct and delivered in a timely manner.

This role is also responsible for supporting product pickups to and from locations as needed , along with product and supply transfers between restaurants.Estimated summer schedule of Wednesday-Friday with deliveries beginning at 5:00am. (Schedule flexibility available for the right candidate.) Primary Responsibilities:

Follow established procedures to check, receive, store and transfer commissary products

Pick/pack orders correctly and safely

Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical inventory as required

Load delivery vehicle

Maintain/clean vehicle

Maintain, clean and contribute to commissary preparation as needed

Safely deliver orders to Ava’s Hospitality Group locations

Check-in products as needed and report back to managers

Abide by all transportation laws, respect the rights of other drivers, and maintain a safe driving record

Requirements:

Clean driving record

Ability to drive for 5+ hours a day

Extremely punctual and reliable

Friendly and personable

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Comfortable using GPS

Ability to problem solve and adapt

Attention to detail
