    About the Job:The Finance Manager will define and manage finance and accounting strategies and tactics for Aventis Systems, Cortavo by Aventis Systems, and the Company’s general merchandise brands. They will add value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs, and driving operational efficiencies. They will also identify new metrics to drive business performance relative to strategic priorities while simultaneously minimizing risk. They will deliver accurate reporting which provides business insights and actionable financial recommendations to executive leadership. The Finance Director is strategic, analytical, and action-oriented. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successful guidance to maximizing cash flow and leveraging commercial terms. They have the necessary leadership skills to lead and develop a finance and accounting team, as well as the department’s external vendors and banking partners. This position reports directly to the CEO and indirectly to the President.

    The Ideal candidate will:

    Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the Company (invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, expense reimbursements)

    Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, including P&L activity, balance sheet, accounts receivable and payable, customer and channel profitability analysis

    Provide insight on spending trends and cash flow windows

    Recommend cost saving initiatives and margin opportunities

    Manage relationships with banks and lending institutions, CPA, and auditors

    Responsible for ensuring access to capital for business growth

    Continually review credit reporting to ensure Company's status remains in perfect standing

    Manage the Company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems

    Conduct strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior leadership Leadership

    Set the vision and roadmap for finance efforts across all Aventis Systems’ brands

    Audit department budgets and P&L projections

    Partner with executive leadership and human resources to build strategic talent plans

    Work with recruiter to hire and develop in-house talent

    Select and manage external vendors and banking partners

    Work closely with sales and marketing teams to deploy and execute sales growth and branding strategies

    Additional job accountabilities:

    Maintain current knowledge of products and services

    Attend ongoing product and job training including seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.

    Participate in Company or departmental meetings and projects

    Notify management of relevant systems and tools to improve Company processes

    Provide support for additional tasks as requested by management

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or Accounting

    Minimum 5 years of progressive finance leadership experience

    Ability to distill large quantities of complex data into actionable information

    Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision making skills

    Outstanding project management and organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage finance tasks effectively

    Personal integrity; ability to keep client and Company confidences

    Developed interpersonal skills in order to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders

    Comfort and ease working with sales and marketing teams to align on budgets, financial targets, and measurement of key financial performance metrics such as CAC and LTV

    Self-evident mentoring skills with an ability to coach and develop junior talent

    Ability to learn and exhibit detailed knowledge of Company’s products and services
