What You’ll Do
The role of an Avenues coach is to instruct our student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary to realize individual and team success. At the same time, the coach must provide a foundation for integrity, pride of accomplishment, sportsmanship, self-discipline, goal setting, teamwork and self-confidence.

Please note that this is a part time and seasonal position averaging 5-10 hours per week. Varsity roles meet 4x per week and Middle School roles meet 3x per week. Practices are 1.5 hours each and competitions last up to 1.5 hours, not including travel time. On race days, athletes leave between 2:00 pm-3:00 pm , so candidates should be available at this time as well.

Please note that this is a part time and seasonal position averaging 6-10 hours a week. Coach pay rates range from $2,400.00-$3,000.00 per season, depending on coach level (assistant vs. head) and experience. You must be eligible to work in the United States and be living in New York or the surrounding area during the season.
