We are a breakout analytics organization who specializes in delivering a next level earned media analytics and software platform to our PR clients.
What is the job?
First and foremost, you will be the right hand engineer to our CTO! Currently, our team is inclusive of the CTO and a small remote team. We have been busy building our product over the last couple of years and are now looking for a lead full time engineer who can take on multiple engineering responsibilities.
You will take ownership of the backend from day one, coding heavily in Python while implementing best practices for AWS Lambda. You will be involved in all aspects of the engineering process from bouncing architecture ideas around to heavy lifting on the keyboard and delegating tasks down the line.
While Python is a key component, you will also be able to step up and tackle new challenges. In short you are the co-anchor of our full-time engineering team and contribute to the best practices of our engineering culture.

What Technical Skills Do You Bring To The Table?
Python (in an AWS Lambda Environment)
The ability to use best practices dealing with large data sets
The ability to write performant SQL
Python experience would be a minimum of 4+ years of professional hands-on engineering experience in production
Plusses:
Ops Experience: Docker, EKS, and CI/CD tools, DataDog, etc
Understanding of DevOps
Experience with big data, especially EMR and Snowflake
The desire to dig into the front end and use React
Comfortable on Ruby on Rails
Understanding of microservices and API architecture

Base Salary up to $160,000 - $180,000
Fully Remote working East Coast Hours (proximity to NY would be great!)
