    Manufacturing Test Back-end Developer

    As a Manufacturing Test Back-end Developer, your expertise in software engineering will be used to develop complex solutions for one of our Big-League customers located in the Bay Area. We will encourage you to innovate and voice your ideas regularly. We are looking for someone that is passionate about working in the high-tech industry.

    Your day-to-day contribution in this role :

    • As part of the team, you will be responsible for the back-end development for a high-priority new project for our client.
    • Work independently to solve complex and often unfamiliar problems and know when to reach out to your team for help.
    • Collaborate with highly skilled engineers to develop backend software that will be utilized at sites worldwide to aid in streamlining and optimizing automated manufacturing tests.
    • Utilize your strong ownership of responsibilities, time management, and results-driven nature to achieve objectives in multidisciplinary and international teams.
    • Perform code reviews and propose solutions to anticipate and resolve problems.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate :

    Mandatory

    • Degree in software development or engineering
    • Proficient with Golang, Python, and SQL
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development
    • Familiarity with software engineering principles and development best practices
    • Experience collaborating on large, distributed software projects
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
    • Flexibility to attend multiple weekly sync meetings during evening hours

    Assets

    • Experience working with a test & measurement framework in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment
    • Confidence to work independently AND seek help when needed
    • Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts in Linux
    • Strong analytical and debugging skills
