Our customer in the South Bend, IN area is looking for a Chemist to join their growing team.  This is a direct hire and full time position offering benefits and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on laboratory and application tasks to evaluate samples and develop new materials, including mixing and coating experimental films on a pilot coater for evaluation.
• Generate formulas and conduct performance tests for enhancements.
• Analyze the results of formula modifications to ensure specifications are met and troubleshoot problems to identify root causes, providing remedial solutions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare scientific reports to document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Support manufacturing and quality control (QC) activities, ensuring smooth transition and successful implementation of developed materials.
