OUR TEAM:

The Risk Management Department’s mission is to further Avery Dennison’s business goals by providing strategic advice and resources to employees to help foster sound risk taking. As a thought partner, we identify and develop strategies for managing risk, reducing costs, and improving safety.

INTERN WILL LEARN AND BE EXPOSED TO:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• High quality, professional day-to-day execution of assigned tasks

• Assist in database administration

• Invoice and certificate management

• Organize and perform administrative duties supporting risk management team

• Learn and acquire knowledge about risk identification, evaluation and treatment

• Conduct research and perform analytical review on special projects

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• To be eligible for internship, students must be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

• Must be motivated, organized, and possess good written and oral communication skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google applications; a general understanding of data analysis techniques

• An interest in risk management, finance, or law is a plus
