    Job Description

    Over the past 25 years, we have expanded to over a dozen campuses throughout the country, creating the world’s largest family of FAA approved Part 147 aviation maintenance schools. Our schools have close relationships with airlines such as Delta, United, Allegiant, Republic, and others, in addition to smaller airlines and MRO’s. At AIM, we train more FAA licensed aircraft mechanics than anyone else in the world and are only continuing to broaden our horizons.

    We are always looking for qualified and experienced individuals to direct and staff our campuses and CURRENTLY HAVE AN OPENING FOR A STUDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR TO WORK AT OUR DULUTH, GA CAMPUS.

    Student Services' candidates will play a key role in assessing prospective student’s needs and interests while helping to guide all qualified prospects through the enrollment process from start to finish. Successful candidates must have a positive attitude, good customer service, an up-beat and welcoming attitude, and the desire to help others succeed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Assist students with resources to assist them in successful completion of their program of study

    • Assist recent graduates, alumni, and active students in career placement efforts in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable state and federal regulations, and all accrediting agencies’ standards and requirements

    • Interview prospective students to discuss and explain the programs offered in line with the student’s interests and career goals

    • Conduct professional and career development workshops and seminars with regularity, as specified by the Corporate Office of Student Affairs

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current professional organizations, certifications/requirements, and other industry standards in the school’s program areas

    • Utilize the school’s electronic records system (CampusVue) to document and track all communications with –and on behalf of – students, as well as to keep a detailed record of their employment or unavailable statuses, and to scan in all relevant supporting documentation

    • Develop and maintain current job lists for active students and graduates

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • PREFER TO have 2 years of post-secondary school experience
    • MUST be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings.
    • Associate's Degree preferred.
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
