    Restaurant Server Evening Shift - Flight Deck Pub You have a friendly aura and thrive in a bustling setting with an aviation-inspired atmosphere. Waiting tables is your passion, and seeing patrons enjoy their meals brings satisfaction to you. Responsibilities: As the Restaurant Server you will: • Be a Friendly Face - arriving at work on time to get the restaurant/lounge/cafe set up and ready to open, keeping the area clean and attractive throughout the meal period. As the outlet closes, all cleaning duties -- floors, tables, buffet, as well as side-work duties. - are also part of your role. • Be a Host as well as a Server -- pouring water, upselling food & beverage, making helpful suggestions, answering questions, remembering names or favorite choices, offering a friendly smile -- and maybe even a weather forecast or a local attraction suggestion -- is all part of the job. • Be a Food Professional -- understand the food and beverage you are serving so you know what you are speaking about; offer prompt, excellent service to create a wonderful dining experience for the guest; handle cash/credit accurately and timely. • Be a Safety & Security Agent -- follow your hotel's established safety and security policies & procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed. Qualifications: Job Requirements • A high school education or equivalent is preferred and at least one year of progressive experience in food & beverage is required as is a ServSafe or Tips certification. • Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, as needed. Medium work -- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. • Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels. • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time without sitting or leaning. • Must possess fluency in English and be able to work in stressful, high-pressure situations, and must possess the ability to multi-task on a regular basis. Compensation: $6 hourly + tips
