About The Job:
We’re actively on the lookout for a high energy, enthusiastic Front of House Cashier that can give our customers a friendly smile, a warm welcome and an amazing overall store experience. Cashiers are the first to make a positive impact on customers and leave them with a great memorable impression. Essentially, Cashiers play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. All FOH Cashiers are cross trained between our two checkout stations in the store. One is upstairs and the other (Acai station) is downstairs. We have part time and full time openings available and offer flexible schedules.
FOH Cashier Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience
Process sales transactions accurately using Clover point-of-sale (POS) system
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Offer product recommendations and assist customers in finding the right items based on their needs and preferences
Adhere to all cash handling and security procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies
Collaborate with other team members to maintain overall store cleanliness and appearance
Assist with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and performing periodic inventory checks
FOH Cashier Qualifications & Experience:
Must have a minimum of 1 year of retail or restaurant experience
Must be available to work 3-5 shifts a week, up to 8 hours a day, nights and weekends, and overtime when necessary
You will be expected to show up on time
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment and multitask effectively
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale systems (we use Clover) is advantageous
High integrity level and strong ability to take initiative
Must be able to work well with a team
Must be able to lift and/or move 50lbs
Must have reliable transportation
Must be flexible with your availability. You will be expected to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to hustle and to work by yourself, unsupervised

$18-$20/hour plus tips, with proven experience, reliability, and responsibility.
