    CONTENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (H) 

    A leading broadcasting company is looking for an experienced content operations individual who is passionate and knowledgeable about digital video & VOD to oversee a wide range of video related initiatives, with a focus on content publishing, content issue resolution, and escalation

    CONTENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST  Pay and Benefits:

    • Hourly pay: $40-$45
    • Worksite: Leading digital broadcasting network (Remote)

    CONTENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST Responsibilities:  

    • Utilize video management and publishing tools to resolve VOD playback and publishing issues while working with Quality Assurance and Publishing teams. Analyze video performance across mobile and OTT tools services to discover, investigate, escalate issues. Take part in the support of high profile content launches.
    • Contribute to the management of video distribution and infrastructure, including integration into websites, mobile websites, mobile and emerging platform applications
    • Ability to operate independently, juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment

     

    CONTENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST Qualifications:  

    • Experience in VOD publishing and knowledge of VOD encoding & video formats
    • Knowledge of Caption formats,Video Containers/Codecs,Audio Codecs and layouts
    • Experience in an OTT/Video Streaming/Network Operations environment
    • Ticketing system familiarity (Jira,Zendesk,ServiceNow or similar methods for support tickets)
    • Must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn
    • Live and On Demand publishing experience
    • Strong technical skills - a problem solver with a passion for developing solutions and processes to address complex problems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Video publishing issue support and escalation experience
    • Understanding of broadcast signal chains
    • Python or similar experience running programs from a terminal
    • Agile / Scrum Certified
    • Experience working with the Platform MPX, Conviva, Thousand Eyes, Elasticsearch, NewRelic, Interra Systems.

     

    SHIFT:

    •  Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM PST

    JOB TYPE: 

    • 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment
