    We are a prominent and growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Newport Beach, California. We are seeking a motivated personal injury case manager to join our team. A personal injury case manager is responsible for overseeing the progress of personal injury cases and ensuring that the clients receive the best possible representation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to their work. This position requires an onsite presence. Responsibilities: • Inform clients and outside counsel on case status as requested • Draw up legal documents for attorney review • Interface with staff, attorneys, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including docketing deadlines, billing, and providing reminders as necessary • Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements • Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies • Open claims with insurance companies and request health insurance liens • Handle property damage claims • Gather and organize relevant documentation, such as medical records, police reports and witness statements Qualifications: • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable - High school diploma is required • Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed • Extensive experience conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents is essential • Professional case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency • A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury case management, with a strong track record of managing cases effectively • Highly motivated with a professional demeanor • Quick learner • Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of cases • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software • Bilingual in Spanish Compensation: $26 - $35 hourly
