    We are a prominent and growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Newport Beach, California. We are seeking a motivated personal injury case manager to join our team. A personal injury case manager is responsible for overseeing the progress of personal injury cases and ensuring that the clients receive the best possible representation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to their work. This position is onsite but is available remotely for those candidates that live at least 70 miles away from our main office in Newport Beach. Responsibilities: • Advise attorneys with cost and time-effective recommendations to accomplish the client’s goals • Maintain and organize all case files, and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies • Create legal documents for attorney review • Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements • Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Open claims with insurance companies and request health insurance liens • Handle property damage claims • Gather and organize relevant documentation, such as medical records, police reports and witness statements Qualifications: • Extensive experience conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents is essential • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable - High school diploma is required • Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software • Previous case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated • A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury case management, with a strong track record of managing cases effectively • Highly motivated with a professional demeanor • Quick learner • Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of cases • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software • Bilingual in Spanish Compensation: $26 - $35 hourly
