We are seeking a CLIENT ADVISOR (LICENSED TEXAS REAL ESTATE AGENT) with 2-5 years of relevant experience who will work closely with our go-to-market team. We are looking for an ownership-oriented individual that is comfortable wearing many hats and has a self-starter mentality.

The Client Advisor Role - NOT your typical real estate agent

• WORK WITH QUALIFIED REAL ESTATE INVESTORS! You will only be representing pre-qualified buyers interested in buying single family investment properties. (no lead generation required)
• FOCUS ON THE FUN STUFF! Our marketing and growth team will focus on identifying buyer leads and our inspection/tour agents will handle the property walks. This means you can focus your time advising clients and negotiating deals!
• BE A PART OF A REAL TECH COMPANY! You will be equipped with proprietary data and technology that will recommend pre-vetted properties for clients. Plus your input will help influence new products and features.
• WORK FROM YOUR HOME OFFICE! Since we are a technology first company, we will equip you with the best remote technology stack to communicate with investors across the country.
• SALARY AND STOCK OPTIONS! This is a full-time employee role offering a competitive base salary, bonuses, and stock options. Additionally, we will cover all your agent fees and select expenses.

What You'll Do

Awning Advisors will specialize in specific markets (e.g. Houston, DFW, Austin) with responsibilities including

• RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: Meet with prospective clients and maintain ongoing relationships with repeat clients.
• BUYER EDUCATION: Walk clients through the basics of real estate investing. Provide expertise through local market knowledge so that clients are confident and ready to transact.
• DEAL IDENTIFICATION & RECOMMENDATION: Advisor is expected to use Awning's proprietary sourcing algorithms to find "deals" and make data adjustments by utilizing their own qualitative understanding of the market backed by data.
• NEGOTIATION & TRANSACTIONS: Expect to make dozens of offers and transact 2-3 properties at a minimum a month.

Your Qualities

• Hold an active Texas real estate license
• 2-5 years of relevant agent or property management experience (huge plus)
• Mastery of excel and google slides/sheets
• Curious and the ability to adjust to rapidly changing or ambiguous environments
• High emotional intelligence, uses critical thinking and is goal-oriented
• Excellent communication and experience working in a cross-functional role
• Strong desire to learn with a "no job beneath you" mindset and an ownership mentality
• Bachelor Degree from a reputable university
