    Currently, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Auto Parts Dispatcher to join the parts team at one of the oldest Chevrolet dealerships in the area through a direct hire opportunity.

    What we offer:

    • Pay: $19.00 to $22 / hourly
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, including a one-hour lunch. Scheduled 5 OT Hours weekly.

    Job Summary:

    As a crucial link between suppliers, warehouse, and customers, the Auto parts Dispatcher plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts. You will manage a team of 28-30 drivers while utilizing OPS dispatch software to monitor deliveries/pick-ups to ensure on-time and successful execution for each order, perform data entry, engage in driver communication and other duties as needed.

    Job Responsibilities include:

    • Coordinate with the parts department to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
    • Maintain an organized system for tracking dispatched parts and managing delivery schedules.
    • Communicate effectively with the parts department, delivery drivers, and other relevant team members.
    • Collaborate with service advisors to prioritize urgent parts orders and ensure timely deliveries for customer satisfaction.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the parts department to reorder as needed.
    • Address and resolve any issues related to delayed deliveries or discrepancies in parts orders.
    • Work proactively to prevent potential challenges and ensure smooth operations.
    • Ensure that all dispatched parts meet quality standards and are in excellent condition.
    • Implement quality control measures to guarantee customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be able to successfully pass additional screenings such as Background Check, Drug Testing and Motor Vehicle Report. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is a plus.
    • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a dispatching or logistics role, preferably in the automotive industry.
    • Proficiency in using dispatching software and Microsoft Office applications. Currently using OPS (dispatch).
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple parts orders simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, drivers, and other departments.
    • Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
