HR COMPLIANCE BUSINESS PARTNER
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The HR Compliance Business Partner is responsible for consulting with both internal HR consultants, staffing recruiters, management and external clients and employees in a variety of industries. This role has client-facing parts of our service model as well as an internal resource for managing our processes as they relate to leave, risk and compliance management.
The HR Compliance Business Partner will provide the in-depth compliance knowledge as it relates to employment regulation, FMLA, Disability, Worker’s Comp and all related aspects of employee leave we well as hiring and employment best practices. You’ll need to be able to remove your own roadblocks, create core processes, pro-actively drive internal, client and employee communication and case resolution and hold yourself and others accountable to processes. ACCOUNTABILITY
CORE FUNCTIONS
Develops the annual safety and training calendar and ensure that required training programs are delivered leveraging the Axios HR learning system and other training sources.
Provides internal training, approval and auditing for hiring, interviewing, employee files and employment of staffing temporary employees.
Pro-actively ensures client safety walk-throughs and on-site safety consulting is completed in a timely and effective way through the support of the HR and Staffing teams.
Accident reporting, investigation, and compliance reporting for clients and maintains communication with HR and Staffing clients and team.
Serves as a liaison between occupational medical centers, insurance providers, worker’s compensation carrier, sole and co-employees of HR and Staffing clients and internal team to facilitate claims and return to work programs and consult on overall HR Compliance.
Acts as the claim manager for all Worker's compensation claims and full-absence manager for those claims that also include Disability, FMLA and other leave types.
Provide oversight to distributing certificates of insurance to HR and Staffing clients annually and as needed.
Coordinating HR, labor law and employment compliance needs with operations.
Provides support to internal staff in relation to employment risks such as hiring, background checks, screening and information disclosed in an interview.
Develop employment screening, worksite evaluation, employment documentation, avoidance of predatory applicants, risk containment, light duty, emergency procedures processes and best practices.
