    AXIOS HR IS GROWING AGAIN – Are you our next HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER?

    The HR Solutions Division at Axios HR is seeking a HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER (HRBP).  Reporting to the Director of HR Client Service Delivery, the position provides direct support, for 10-15 clients, as the lead contact for Axios HR. The HRBP works in partnership with our client leaders, managers, and employees, serving both as an expert practitioner and customer service professional. The HRBP will work to support his/her clients to meet their human resource goals. This consultative support is hybrid in nature, and may be on-site (client worksite locations), at our corporate office or off-site, working remotely.

    WHAT DOES THE HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER DO?

    Our HRBPs provide service delivery for assigned clients focused in four key areas: 

    • Support the needs of client leaders through excellent customer service. Ensure client leaders are not drawn into unnecessary administrative tasks by monitoring & streamlining HR administrative processes. The HRBP will delegate administrative tasks to assigned Axios HR, operations teammates such as the Payroll Administrator, HR Coordinator, Benefit Specialist and Compliance Specialist for each client and ensure strong communication until issues are resolved.
    • Oversee all employment related compliance activities, and lead employee relations investigations.
    • Partner with client leaders to understand if the total cost of employment and talent investments are targeted to the right areas for each organization.
    • Improving talent attraction and retention through benchmarking and improving the competitiveness of the employment offer. Guiding compensation and benefits strategy, the annual benefits open enrollment process, workforce planning and recruiting processes.

    Successful HRBPs possess a deep understanding of the HR Solutions business model and diagnose and respond to client projects, issues, and needs.  Client locations vary across the state, and Midwest.  Due to unprecedented client growth, we are looking for HR Professionals in West Michigan, Southeast (Detroit Metro) Michigan, and Northern Michigan. With additional client prospects in the current pipeline, your travels may include most of Michigan and possibly neighboring states.

    DUTIES:

    1.  Plans, directs, and coordinates human resources activities and staff of the organization under a co-employment (Professional Employer Organization) or ala carte service (Administrative Services Organization) model. 

    2.  Coordinates amazing customer service with assigned HR Operations’ teammates (Payroll Administrator, Benefits Specialist, Leave of Absence Specialist & HR Coordinator, Care Team).

    3.  Provides quality Human Resource management services to assigned client companies through onsite and offsite HR support to employees, management, and leaders.

    4.  Responds to daily requirements for reporting, analysis, compliance, performance management, and investigations.

    5.  Applies specialized HR knowledge and skills to client problems and questions

    6.  Fully utilizes deep domain specialists within Axios HR (i.e. Absence Management, Benefits, HRIS, Reporting) to bring the breadth of Axios HR to the client situation.

    1. Works closely with Director of Client Service Delivery to build strong client relationships and retain and grow client partnership.

    PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

    • Provide exceptional service that enables client retention for assigned clients to be at least 95%. Clients that depart due to mergers, acquisitions, or business closure are excluded from the client retention objective.
    • Manage a portfolio of clients that generate a minimum of $300,000 in administrative fees per year.
    • Increase gross profit per worksite employee average through matching clients’ needs to potential HR solutions.
    • Create raving fans and clients for life.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or a related field.
    • A minimum of three years of HR experience in a Specialist or Generalist role, including proficiency in major HR areas (Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits).
    • Familiarity with all areas of Human Resources and HR Generalist responsibilities. 
    • Proven skills in policy development and administration. 
    • Competence in using an HRIS platform.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues, multiple clients and prioritize issues & opportunities effectively. 
    • Proven experience managing projects independently and dealing with multiple stakeholders/leaders.
    • Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in MS-Office applications.
    • Effective problem-solving skills.
    • Positive customer service orientation and motivation.
    • Demonstrate a follow up & follow through mentality matched by no other HR service organization in the Midwest. Axios HR is committed to responding to emails and phone calls to client leaders in 24 hours or less.
