    We are looking for a highly motivated person for a busy and growing mental health clinic in the Denver area. This position is for our Louisville Colorado office. This medically supervised role will be involved in administering life-changing depression treatments like Spravato or other treatments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the patient experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to schedule patient consultations and visits. While a medical assisting certification would be ideal, attitude, mindset, and the desire to be part of our mission to change people’s lives will play a larger role in hiring this candidate.

    Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:

    Administration of Spravato treatment in accordance with all provider-established guidelines and protocols.

    Monitor and care for patients after administering medications to ensure patient safety and resolve or escalate any issues that may occur.

    Drive a high standard of exceptional patient care by demonstrating empathy, developing trust, listening, and providing support to a vulnerable patient population.

    Records all treatment session notes and documents in Athena EMR, collaborating with other team members and/or providers as needed.

    Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

    Understand or willing to learn general insurance and billing procedures

    Provide support to the medical provider as needed during patient consultations and treatments.

    Answer patient inquiries, follow-up with patients and complete patient charting requirements post-treatment

    Complete training related to the job, including getting certified as required by the organization

    Adheres to and upholds all compliance requirements from a state, federal level.

    Other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Experience working in patient care or behavioral health setting

    High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or Higher

    EMT required

    Behavioral health experience is preferred

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems,

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (renewal provided by organization as needed) or willingness to obtain.

    Empathy and a genuine desire to want to help people, even on their worst days

    Cultural sensitivity towards how different races and cultures view mental health

    A positive and professional attitude, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and patients.

    Enthusiastic self-starter with a growth mindset, willing to learn and provide flexible support

    Authorization to work in the United States without requiring authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future.

    A satisfactory background check inclusive of driving records, criminal records, employment references, education, Social Security and OIG/SA exclusions.
