Axsome Therapeutics is currently searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager with biotech industry experience to support our growth. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment across multiple functional areas, but primarily commercial and R&D.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a talent advisor by driving and owning full lifecycle recruitment for positions at all levels across the organization
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple requisitions based on business needs
- Source, screen, interview, and schedule candidates
- Recommend qualified candidates that meet the requirements and have the ability to thrive in the organization (assess cultural fit)
- Partner closely with hiring managers in order to successfully develop and execute on current and forecasted hiring needs and strategies including proactive engagement with passive candidates
- Establish recruitment and selection processes while considering internal variables, EEO and diversity compliance, and budgetary considerations to ensure departmental and organization needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Responsible for initiating the offer process including the formulation and extension of offers
- Maintain communication with recruiting partners and proactively communicate with managers regarding status of the recruitment process
- Leverage and analyze data to inform and make recruitment decisions
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years full lifecycle recruiting experience with at least 2 years in life sciences
- Experience supporting R&D and Commercial functions
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs, and recommendations
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management and planning skills
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other venues for sourcing and networking
