    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as the Solutions Architect for the modernization, design and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity, data and administrative computer engineering solutions and services and provides necessary leadership, high-level research, analysis and design tasks related to those solutions and services.
    • Manage and develop security architectures for a broader scope of projects, working closely with application and data architects that manage and design architectures for projects or initiatives.
    • Create strategies for leveraging new and upcoming computer engineering and computational technologies and ensuring recommendations are in compliance with information technology (IT) best practices, and standards.
    • Identify innovative solutions and ensure their implementation to benefit the overall goals of the organization and enterprise with a focus on understanding business drivers and capabilities (current and future state).
    • Apply professional computer and computational engineering knowledge of modern computer hardware balanced with applicable software engineering expertise in computer programming, hardware and software architecture design, cloud-based infrastructure configuration, and cloud security design with the ability to translate these easily into business capabilities.
    • Collaborate on the development of and implementation of the organization's cybersecurity research and development policies, objectives, and initiatives.
    • Provide significant oversight and technical leadership of enterprise security architecture and services and overall high-level technical expertise in computer and computational systems engineering that advance organizational mission;
    • Develops security design requirements through sound design methodology, adequate security control application, and effective configuration practices. Ensures secure architectural solutions are incorporated into every aspect of the enterprise architecture supporting an organization’s key business processes and organizational mission.
