Aircraft Maintenance Manager
Job Summary Manage, supervise and participate in diagnostic, adjustments, repairs, inspection and overhauls the aircraft fleet.
Responsibilities
Checking on aircraft maintenance discrepancies, troubleshooting, and ordering parts in order to ensure that proper turnover and continuation of operation for each aircraft is carried out.
Closely monitoring all work or inspection operations being accomplished on Company's aircraft. Ensure that proper references, manual forms or records are available and are being used as specified, and that they are properly completed in all required detail.
Reviewing all discrepancy items and corrective actions to ensure that they comply with Aztec Airlines manuals and FAA regulations.
Review Deferred items, turnover logs, documentation, aircraft fleet status, line station maintenance activity.
Effecting liaison with the pilot, as required to discuss maintenance log items as entered by flight crews.
Ensuring the continued airworthiness of Company's aircraft in accordance with FAR'S and the provisions of the Aztec Airways Manuals and to protect at all times the best interest of the Company and its property, whether in work, parked, stored or in related handling, towing, etc.
Manage station maintenance activity.
Develop most effective strategies to minimize unscheduled aircraft out of service events.
Ensure all flights have support as required.
Hands on working alongside the team.
Assist the VP of Maintenance to Checking time sheets and submitting payroll and attendance to ensure that employees are paid properly.
Assist the VP of Maintenance to Oversee and coordinate the Technician group including planned schedules, hangar Maintenance and debriefing Flight crews for technical issues.
Assist the VP of Maintenance to Oversee and coordinate Maintenance planned events for timely scheduled completion.
Assist the VP of Maintenance to Monitor outstation events to ensure effective resolution.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the VP of Maintenance

Job Qualifications
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate for 5 years.
Valid Passport.
Valid Driver’s License.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5 years maintenance experience hangar or line environment.
2 years aircraft maintenance management experience.
Full understanding of applicable FARs, applicable manuals, safety standards, airworthiness requirements and Operational Specifications.
Must Own Tool Box and tools.
Within 6 months of obtaining position must have successfully completed Company's fleet familiarization and handling
