About the Role:

We’re seeking a Senior Azure ADF Data Engineer who excels in cloud-native environments and is passionate about architecting high-impact, scalable data solutions. In this fully remote role, you'll work on mission-critical data pipelines that empower enterprise decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory v2

Ensure reliability and scalability across all ETL workflows

Identify and resolve performance issues and data pipeline bottlenecks

Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into efficient data flows

Connect and manage data across Azure SQL, Blob Storage, APIs, and on-prem systems

Leverage services including Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Logic Apps, and Key Vault

Maintain clear documentation of workflows, transformations, and system integrations

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ yrs experience in Azure Data Factory—hands-on development and troubleshooting

Advanced SQL skills with Azure SQL DB and/or Synapse Analytics

Expertise in data integration, modeling, and transformation techniques

Familiarity with Azure services: Data Lake, Key Vault, Azure Monitor

Strong analytical thinking and independent problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to CI/CD practices, Git, and DevOps for data pipelines

Familiarity with data governance, cataloging, and lineage tools
