Position Summary:
Azure Cloud Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure. This role partners with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to architect enterprise-level cloud environments and guide cloud strategy and governance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and architect Azure cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-prem to Azure
• Develop architecture standards, governance, and best practices
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
• Ensure security, compliance, and identity management using Azure AD and related services
• Optimize cost management and performance within Azure environments
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI CD pipelines and automation
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• 5 plus years of experience in cloud architecture or senior cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Experience with networking, virtual networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, firewalls
• Experience with Azure AD, RBAC, and identity management
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Python
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI CD pipelines
• Experience with security best practices in cloud environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with containerization, such as AKS and Docker
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
