TechConnect is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer for an industry leading client in Tulsa, OK. They ideal candidate will be well versed in Cloud technologies and solutions with a focus in Azure. This position will by a hybrid type position, with a fairly broad skill set in network and systems administration.

As an Azure Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining, deploying and monitoring cloud systems that include hardware, software, servers, and more. Some of your duties will include working with VDI, physical switch management, Azure server engineering and maintenance, Exchange server, and more. You will work with users, management and executive leadership to deliver best of class customer support and service.

To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with internal team members while delivering exceptional support and customer service. You must possess strong organizational abilities and thrive in a collaborative team environment. You need strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships with team members, internal users and customers. You will need to stay on top of the latest technology and industry trends to effectively support the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Azure Cloud resources.
• Measure and optimize system performance.
• Plan, install and configure network infrastructure such as switches, routers, firewalls, servers, etc.
• Manage network and voice equipment.
• Automate tasks, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve network issues.
• Disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Review, evaluate and implement security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of hands on experience in the technology industry, specifically working with Azure.
• Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, WAN/LAN, etc.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, IIS, network monitoring, etc.
• Experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure design and deployment within Azure.
• Azure Cloud services and features.

Work Environment

• 100% onsite position. Position will require some weekend and evening work as needed.
