REQUIREMENT: Azure Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Developer Montpelier, Vermont (Onsite) Need Overall 10+Years of experience 3 References from the recent projects are must.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Azure SQL Database design, deployment, optimization, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory using Python.

Knowledge of Azure Blob Storage and integration with Azure services.

Experience with Power BI integration for reporting and dashboards.

Strong background in relational database schema design, normalization, and indexing.

Understanding of data security, RBAC, encryption, and compliance standards.

Ability to perform testing, validation, and database maintenance planning.

Skills in documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.

Strong communication and project management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience integrating with external utility and energy data systems (e.g., NEPOOL GIS, ISO-NE, VELCO VX).

Familiarity with automated data movement, lifecycle management, and archiving in Azure Blob Storage.

Prior experience with large-scale data migration and management in cloud environments.

Knowledge of API development and integration for external data feeds.

Strong background in ETL template creation for future data source expansion.

Experience delivering State or government data projects with compliance requirements.

Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Data Engineer Associate, Database Administrator Associate).
