CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned management consulting and digital transformation company, is looking for a UI/UX WEB DEVELOPER to work within a team to design and development websites and web applications. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating website designs and producing sample sites.
- Meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress.
- Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites.
- Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML and JavaScript.
- Creating products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing.
- Digital retouching and image editing.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Mobile Web designing.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with JavaScript.
- 2 years of experience in coding with HTML; CSS.
Required Experience
- Use graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe XD) to create a new look and feel and improved site navigation.
- Research new trends, technologies or regulations.
- Ability to support system UI/UX design for multiple Scrum/Agile development teams.
- Section 508 Testing/Development knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations.
- Ability to keep up with the latest technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
