    CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for Facility Condition Assessors to conduct facility condition assessments for a variety of building types including: administrative, warehouses, medical, educational, research facilities, etc.  The candidate must be proficient in identifying the different equipment and components of a building including sub-components; have knowledge and experience in identifying the condition of building components, and an understanding of the appropriate required corrective action when deficiencies and needed repairs are observed.  Detailed knowledge either in structural and roof systems or mechanical and electrical systems is required.  Ability to use computers and data entry software in field situations required. Implements quality control processes on collected data and verifies accuracy.  Must be able to productively work with team members and deal with clients in a positive manner. 

    Required Skills

    Required Skills:

    • U.S. Citizenship and able to successfully pass a background check.
    • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
    • 2+ years of experience conducting facility condition assessments.
    • Knowledge of building systems, equipment, and facility operations.
    • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and sustain moderate physical activity to include walking and standing.
    • Ability to use mobile computer system devices for field data collection.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Experience in facilities operations and management.
    • Experience in facilities operations and maintenance practices for medical and/or biological research facilities.
    • Knowledge of U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Research Lab BUILDER SMS software.

     

    Required Experience

    BS degree in Engineering or related field with minimum of 2 years’ experience; or 7 years’ related experience in facility operations or building trades, additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)

    DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS (ANY OF THE FOLLOWING)

    • Building Maintenance and Operations certifications
    • Facility Management Professional
    • Certified Facility Manager
    • Engineer-In-Training
    • Professional Engineer
